There has been much talk recently about the need to review prevailing structures and processes for collective bargaining as disputes have developed in the mining and the farming sectors in recent months.  Questions are being asked about levels of bargaining - enterprise vs sectoral, the duty to negotiate actual wages in good faith in appropriate bargaining units with representative unions, how to balance a living wage with job creation, etc. John Brand's PowerPoint presentation HERE outlines some of the issues, arguments and options for consideration.
