Raj Daya, CD/ACDS accredited mediator who is also the Acting Deputy Director General Legislative Development and Secretary: Rules Board for Courts of Law in the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development, this week updated Conflict Dynamics on the position with the much anticipated mediation rules.

He said: "That the voluntary mediation rules have been finalised. The Chief Justice and heads of Courts were presented with same recently.They need to comment. After that we will release publicly and place in newspapers. We are almost there."

We thought our accredited mediators would like to hear about this development. We look forward in anticipation to the rules being finalised, and to hearing about the process for accrediting mediators for court referred mediation!
