Professional background and experience: Qaqamba is an accredited mediator with Conflict Dynamics. She is a practising attorney who has specialised in labour law since 2009. With such experience, Qaqamba advises clients on complex labour matters such as retrenchments, transfer of employees in terms of section 197 of the Labour Relations Act, and matters pertaining to basic conditions of employment and employment equity disputes. Furthermore, she represents clients before forums such as Bargaining Councils, the Commission for Conciliation Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA), the Labour Court and the Labour Appeal Court. |
