Salim Nakhjavani

Professional background and experience:

Salim Nakhjavani practices corporate and commercial law at the Johannesburg Bar. He mediates mainly in complex contractual and corporate governance disputes. He is also a qualified process-facilitator ('orchestrator') with Duke Corporate Education and contributes regularly to their leadership programmes at senior management and board levels. He brings substantial experience in cross-cultural communication, institution-building and corporate ethics to the mediation table.

Mediation experience and style:

Mediation spaces that are characterised by ease, quality of attention and focus, help the parties to think creatively and intelligently. Salim's natural orientation is to help parties read their own reality more accurately and, where possible, to unlock unexpected shared value in their commercial relationships.

Comments from clients:

"Thank you for your time and patience today; it was great working with you!"

"The session was very helpful on both the financial and emotional side."
