Professional background and experience: Koos du Plessis obtained his B Proc degree, from the University of the Free State and was admitted as an Attorney and Notary in 1993. He holds further post-graduate diplomas in Company Law, Close Corporation Law (UJ) and Advanced Trust Law (UP). He also holds an MComm (UJ). In January 2012, Koos was accredited as a Mediator by CEDR, endorsed by the University of Stellenbosch Business School and also received endorsement from Harvard University. He has extensive experience in Commercial Law, Contract Law, Property Law, Property Development and Management, Family Law, Estate Planning, Trust Law, Structuring of Business and Financial Transactions.
