Professional background and experience:

Gillian obtained her Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand and her Master of Laws in Family Law (Cum Laude) through Unisa. Gillian was admitted as an attorney in January 1998. Gillian specializes in family law, matrimonial Finance and private client disputes. 

Mediation experience and style:

Gillian has successfully completed mediation training at the Family Life Centre, and is SAAM and NABFAM accredited, and through Conflict Dynamics and is also CEDR accredited. Her mediation style is both facilitative/non-directive and evaluative/directive, depending upon the nature of the dispute referred to her.
