Professional qualifications: B.Proc,(UP), NQF 4&5 (Property). Worked as legal advisor since 1986 for Department of Constitutional Development and Planning, The S.A. Housing Trust Ltd, The Cancer Association of S.A and the Mpumalanga Tourism Business Forum. Accredited since 1993 and still a current paid up member of the Estate Agency Affairs Board as practicing Business Broker/Agent. Previous Secretary to the SA Association of Advocates (The Bar) and Director: Professional Affairs for the Law Society (The Side-Bar). Experienced in mediation in the fields of Consumer Protection (Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008), all property related disputes (contracts, sales and rental) as well as divorce and general contracts and business dispute settlements.  Experienced in the “new” Western Cape Liquor Act, 4 or 2008 as consultant and Governing Board Member (appointed for period 2015 to 2018). Currently a tribunal commissioner for the Rental Housing Tribunal of the Western Cape and specialist mediator for the Tribunal in all Rental Housing Act (50 of 1999) matters.
