The last Coffee with Conflict Dynamics webinar for this year coincides with the launch of the annual 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign (25 November – 10 December). This year, the global campaign will be emphasising the growing threat of digital violence, and our webinar will therefore specifically focus on the potential for digital violence in the workplace and how this should, and can, be prevented and eliminated.
Workplaces are not immune to the scourge of digital gender-based violence. Increasingly, we hear of cyberstalking, harassment through internal platforms, the non-consensual sharing of images or private information, and even gendered trolling through workplace communication tools.
These risks demand collaboration between HR, ER and IT to strengthen digital safety policies — covering how tools like WhatsApp, MS Teams, and Zoom are used and monitored. Because the digital workplace needs to be made safe for everyone.
Join Conflict Dynamics and expert labour practitioner Qaqamba Moeletsi for a discussion which will cut through the potential complexity of this topic to provide practical insight into how HR and ER Practitioners, and all Line Managers, can play a constructive part in cultivating safer workplaces which are free of the threat of digital violence and harm.
There will also be an opportunity for interaction and Q&A on this topic.
