Meshack Ravuku

Meshack is an experienced trainer and regularly undertakes training assignments for Conflict Dynamics. He also has extensive experience as a facilitator, negotiator, and mediator. He has been a mediator since 1999 and has mediated very complex disputes across various sectors and industries. He focuses mostly on mediating workplace / labour disputes but has also conducted community conflict interventions.

Meshack was a as full-time senior commissioner at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation, and Arbitration (CCMA) for 20 years and director of Tokiso Dispute Settlement. Meshack was a trade unionist who spent over 25 years as both a shop steward and national organiser where he was responsible for national (primarily substantive) negotiations.

Meshack is on the dispute resolution panels of Conflict Dynamics. He is the chairperson of the Bargaining Forums at the IEC, NHBRC, and RAF, as well as a former Bargaining Forum Chairperson of the HPCSA, PSCBC, and South African Sports Commission. Meshack is known as an effective mediator, facilitator, trainer, and workplace investigator and manages his own Labour Relations Consultancy, Ravuku Strategic Dispute Resolution (PTY) LTD.  Aside from his work in South Africa, Meshack has also worked in Zambia, Mozambique, Lesotho, Swaziland, and Kenya.
